Using Metaphor in Dialogue

Have you ever heard the phrase, “He stabbed the guy in the back”? Depending on the context, either somebody did stab the guy in the back or somebody betrayed somebody else. Occasionally, in our current knee-jerk monocular society, someone will actually not understand it is a metaphor. I’m here to help you through what you missed in fifth grade.
