Have you ever watched one of those cooking videos on YouTube and thought, “Man, I’m gonna make that,” but didn’t?
During COVID, I learned to make Yorkshire pudding, red wine sauce, several different ways of making chicken and beef, and numerous coffee and espresso brewing techniques.
I watched the videos, got the ingredients, and then made the thing.
During that time, I watched hundreds more videos of things I never made but wanted to.
I take it as a partial success. Gordon Ramsay isn’t going to be calling me for tips, but I have a few new recipes in my arsenal.
As I’m writing, I have a Billy Parisi video running for roasted chicken. I’ve saved it. Will I actually make it?
